There are never enough hours in the day!
I used to repeat this phrase every day—until I was introduced to the productivity game-changer: Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy by a great trainer in our hospitality days.
So, what exactly is the "frog"?
The frog is that one crucial task you know you need to tackle but would rather avoid. It's the task that yields the best results but is also the one you're most likely to procrastinate on.
The idea is simple: if you start your day by "eating that frog," you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing the toughest part is behind you, and you can continue your day feeling accomplished.
Now you might have several tasks that seem equally “froggy” however once you’ve identified which task that is, tackle it first. Then move on to the next, and the next.
That’s the basic premise, but the book goes further by offering strategies to beat procrastination. While it may not turn you into a time-management expert overnight, we promise that if you apply even a few of its principles to both your work and personal life, you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve.
